The first Paris-Roubaix is often a painful test… and on the second one, you avoid to do the same mistakes!

Ex-professional cyclists want to give you some advice for your hands during the cobblestones sections. Take note of these tips!

Prepare and protect your hands the day of the race:

  • Gloves are the minimum protection
  • We recommend you to have a double or triple handlebar tape
  • You also can put a patch like a second layer of skin (like Blister Compeed)
  • Other padding under your gloves will be very useful for your hands!

Your position on your bike will be very important during the cobblestones sections:

  • Stay relax on your bike
  • Don’t tight too much your handlebars with your hand
  • Raise your handlebars slightly to be more right on your bike
